Who We Are

In-Home Care VNA is a not-for-profit corporation, (and has no financial
connection with any other institution or agency), which provides health care in
the home to persons with a verified medical need. We are a service
oriented agency that provides Nursing, Physical therapy, Occupational Therapy,
Speech Therapy and Health Aides to the homebound
residents of Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, Stark, LaSalle, Lee and Northern Peoria
Counties. In-Home Care VNA was founded in 1977, through the
efforts of a concerned community group who saw the need for our services.
In that year, we served 123 patients. Last year we served 333.
We are a local organization whose board of directors and staff live in the area we serve. The people we serve are our neighbors, and we have a deep rooted, vital interest in the well-being of the people where we live. Our agency employs people who are dedicated to the provision of high quality care. 75% of our employees have been with us for 5 years or longer, 63% have been with us 10 years or longer, and 25% have been with us 20 years or longer. The need for quality home care is continually growing and we are striving to meet this increased need. The services we render are instrumental in reducing health care costs and increasing the quality of life Our main objective is to assist the patient in attaining and maintaining his/her highest level of independence in daily living and assisting them to obtain other needed services. We are committed to education, avoiding unnecessary admission to hospitals or nursing homes; providing continuity of nursing care after hospitalization and providing support for family members and other caregivers. We are pleased to be able to reach so many of you through this World Wide Web page. Many of you know who we are...we have been privileged to visit you in your homes and are glad to have this opportunity to tell you about In-Home Care VNA and the services we provide to the community.
